AILA project Focus Groups

As part of the AILA program, three focus groups were created to discuss and analyse issues related to phishing, with the aim of drawing conclusions that will help in the better design of the final system specifications. The implementation of the Focus Groups was carried out between 18 and 22 December of 2023.
The first focus group, comprising stakeholders from universities and other organizations, gathered to discuss their experiences and perceptions of phishing attacks. The discussion aimed to identify critical challenges and potential strategies for designing an effective anti-phishing chatbot.
The primary goal of the second focus group was to capture the experiences and thoughts of end users. The participants discussed the design and implications of an anti-phishing chatbot. The group provided diverse perspectives on phishing experiences, potential chatbot functionalities, and the need for a balance between user assistance and data privacy.
The third Focus Group was implemented with the participation of eight Legal Experts. The suggested discussion topics were National and EU rules about phishing, Legal advice to mitigate phishing attacks to end-users and service providers, Legislative services in intrinsic and domain phishing attacks, GDPR and data anonymization compliance and AI and legal systems and phishing mitigation.
